Zaproszenie do udziału w konferencji 11th Workshop on Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Lasers

We warmly invite all our peers to participate in the 11th Workshop on Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Lasers, which will be held on October 18-22, 2026, in Toruń, Poland.

Held every two years since 2007, the Workshop brings together researchers from academia and industry from Poland and abroad. It is a unique scientific forum dedicated to the physics and technology of semiconductor lasers, photonics, and optoelectronics.

The Workshop is traditionally co-organized by the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics, the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and the Faculty of Physics at Lodz University of Technology.

This year's Workshop is chaired by Dr. Magdalena Marciniak from the Faculty of Physics at Lodz University of Technology, with organizational support provided by the Candela Foundation.

Prof. Piotr Perlin from our Institute is a member of the Program Committee. Professor Perlin has been actively involved in the development of this workshop series and in fostering international collaboration in the field of semiconductor lasers for many years.

The Workshop provides an excellent opportunity to present the latest research results, establish new collaborations, and exchange ideas with scientists and industry professionals working in semiconductor lasers and related fields.

The abstract submission deadline is July 13, 2026. We encourage researchers, doctoral students, and students, from both IHPP PAS and general scientific and industry community, to submit their contributions and take part in this exciting event.
