Research capabilities and technical data

Proprietary station for ultrasonic deposition of coatings consisting of nanoparticles in a controlled environment (cleanroom). The laboratory offers a service of coating materials of various compositions and structures, functionalizing their surfaces by imparting specific physicochemical, biological, or structural properties, e.g., osteoinductive, antibacterial, anticancer, nanorough, biologically active. The deposition is carried out using a unique ultrasonic method patented by IWC PAN. The process takes place in aqueous suspensions with nanoparticles at room temperature using an industrial-grade ultrasonic device. The method involves immersing the object to be coated in a liquid suspension of nanoparticles and applying high-power ultrasonic energy to the liquid near the object. The process takes between 5 and 30 minutes and can be carried out at room temperature. This method allows nanoparticles to be deposited on a wide variety of substrates, with virtually no restrictions, e.g., plastics (PEEK, PCL, PMMA, others), textiles, ceramic materials, metallic materials (e.g., titanium). The coated objects can have a smooth or porous surface. In the case of porous objects, coverage is also achieved inside the pores of the material.
