Projekty IWC PAN na konferencji pod auspicjami FNP

On 19–20 October 2026, Professor Michał Bockowski and Professor Grzegorz Muzioł represented the Institute of High Pressure Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IHPP PAS), at a conference „5th Interdisciplinary Science Conference – FNP Connect” held under the auspices of the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP).

The event was aimed at beneficiaries of the Foundation’s programs - funded through the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) initiative - as well as representatives from the worlds of science and business. The primary objective of the meeting was to foster integration within the scientific community, discuss key challenges faced by participants, and build bridges between academia and the business sector.

The event featured scientific sessions, panel discussions, and presentations of projects currently being implemented under the FENG program.

Professor Michał Bockowski presented “Center for Nitride Semiconductor Physics and Technology – GaN-Unipress”, a project carried out at IHPP PAS within the International Research Agendas programme. The poster outlined research on GaN crystal growth, power diodes, quantum technologies, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Professor Grzegorz Muzioł presented his project “Monolithic integration of multicolor micro- and nano-LED arrays”, carried out at IHPP PAS within FNP’s FIRST TEAM programme. The project focuses on developing integrated, multicolour arrays of miniature light sources.

The International Research Agendas project poster was assigned number 1, which the Institute welcomed as a symbolic distinction and a pleasant highlight of its participation in the conference.
