Research capabilities and technical data
The measurement system is based on modified light-current-voltage, high-resolution spectra measurement setup and Littman-Metcalf external cavity setup. The system uses polarization-dependent optical isolator and half-wave plate for optical isolation. The system can be used to couple the light from laser diode or superluminescence diode and investigation of optical response and high-resolution spectrum for active elements – like optical amplifiers, superluminescence diodes or modulators – and passive elements like passive photonic integrated circuits, unprocessed samples as a bar. Both stages are equipped with TEC element and water cooling for temperature stabilization.
