Conference description
Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW 2027) will take place on 15–18 June 2027 at Venice Lido, Italy. This international conference will bring together researchers, students and industry professionals to discuss advances in compound semiconductor science, technology and applications, from materials development to electronic and optoelectronic devices.
Researchers from the Institute of High Pressure Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (UNIPRESS), are contributing to the conference organisation. Professor Michał Boćkowski, Director of the Institute, serves as co-chair of the “Epitaxy and process technologies” track, together with Elke Meissner of Fraunhofer IISB. Dr. Anna Kafar serves on the Organising Committee as Publication Co-Chair.
Dr. Tomasz Sochacki will deliver an invited talk entitled “Anisotropy in Ammonothermal Growth of Nitrides: Killer or Ally?”, addressing the role of anisotropy in ammonothermal nitride growth.
