XI Winter Workshop on physics and application of nitride semiconductors - zimowe warsztaty na Kalatówkach

We are pleased to announce the dates for the upcoming XI Winter Workshop on Physics and Application of Nitride Semiconductors. This unique scientific meeting will take place from March 14th to 19th, 2027, at Kalatówki near Zakopane, Poland.

The workshop continues a long-standing tradition of informal and inspiring discussions set against the beautiful backdrop of the Tatra Mountains. Researchers are invited to share their latest research results, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations in the relaxed atmosphere of the Kalatówki mountain hotel. We welcome you to join the discussion on the physics and technology of group III nitride semiconductors, fostering new connections and deepening existing scientific partnerships.

As with previous editions of the workshop, participation is by invitation only.

The scope of the workshop includes:

• Epitaxial growth and device processing of III-N structures
• Material characterization of III-N structures
• Devices: laser diodes, micro-LEDs, integrated photonics, electronic devices
• Nitrides for quantum technologies
• Novel nitride materials
