VIIth Winter Workshop Kalatówki 2023 on Physics and Applications of Nitride Semiconductors will be organized on March 26-31, 2023 in Zakopane (Poland). The workshop will gather the researchers from the Institute of High Pressure Physics Polish Academy of Sciences and from the collaborating scientific institutes.

The Winter Workshop Kalatówki has been serving as a platform for exchanging information and ideas between the laboratories of the Institute of High Pressure Physics for years. Scientific subjects covered include physics and technology of quantum structures of AlInGaN semiconductors, mainly in the context of light emitters. Nitride-based electronics and crystal growth physics is also in focus.

This year, the invited guests of the VIIth Winter Workshop Kalatówki 2023 will be Prof. Enrique Calleja (University of Madrid) and Prof. Tomasz Czyszanowski (Lodz University of Technology).
