We are proud to inform that both of the young researchers, Małgorzata Iwińska and Mikołaj Amilusik, who participated in the International Summer School on Crystal Growth in Lake Biwa, Japan, in August 2016, received IUCr (International Union of Crystallography) Young Researchers Awards for their presentations.

Małgorzata Iwińska received also an Excellent Poster Award for presenting the results of Growth of HVPE-GaN on Advanced Substrates obtained by Smart Cut^TM. Congratulations!
