IHPP PAS in STRATEGMED III

We are pleased to announce that the Institute of High Pressure Physics PAS with consortium, obtained the highest score in National Centre for Research and Development project funding competition – STRATEGMED III. The Project entitled: Tissue engineering method of bone loss treatment for oncological patients will be led by prof. Wojciech Święszkowski from Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology.
The aim of this project partnership is to develop technologies for patients with bone loss undergoing oncological treatment.
Laboratory of Nanostructures IHPP PAS will be a project coordinator responsible for specific tasks:
- Microwave solvothermal synthesis of active bone regeneration stimuli nano-hydroxyapatite particles
- Ultrasonic coating method of coating medical implants with nanoparticles
IHPP PAS will cooperate within the project with experts from:
- Warsaw University of Technology
- Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences
- Świętokrzyskie Cancer Centre in Kielce
- Warsaw Medical University
- Białystok Medical University
- MaterialsCare, Warsaw University of Technology spin-off company
- "Puławska" veterinary clinic, Warsaw
- Timeless plastic surgery clinic, Warsaw
