As result of the MINIATURA 8 competition, the National Science Centre has qualified for financing the research activity of three young researchers from our Institute who recently obtained PhD degree.

• Dr. Eng. Adil Rehman entitled "Coulomb interaction in 2D bilayer systems: towards double-stream instability for THz emission".
• Dr. Aleksandr Cherniadev "Study of light-matter interaction in the terahertz near field for biosensing"
• Dr. Julia Higuchi "Influence of selected fragmentation methods of sono-coated electrospun fibers on their physicochemical properties and cytocompatibility"

Under MINIATURA 8, researchers with a PhD degree who work for Polish research institutions could apply for funding of 5 to 50 thousand zlotys for their preliminary/ pilot studies, library and archive searchers, fellowships, research visits and/ or consultations.
