We are pleased to inform that our institute took part in the 12th International Conference on Ion Implantation and Other Applications of Ions and Electrons (ION 2022). The event took place June 27-29 in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland. Michał Boćkowski presented an invited lecture titled “Innovative approach for changing electrical and optical properties of GaN”. Two PhD candidates from the Crystal Growth Laboratory took part in the Young Scientist Contest for best oral presentation. Piotr Jaroszyński presented a paper entitled “Ultra-High-Pressure doping of GaN with europium”. Kacper Sierakowski had a presentation regarding “Investigation of beryllium diffusion for various crystallographic directions in GaN grown by HVPE” and won the second prize in the contest. Additionally, Kacper presented a poster entitled “Investigation of zinc diffusion in various crystallographic directions in GaN grown by HVPE”.
